Is there an extra charge if I need the driver to help with loading?

Yes. Please note that you need a loading quote when placing the order, and the driver partner will confirm and discuss the details when contacting you. Prices may be adjusted depending on the situation. Factors that determine the fee include: type, size, weight and quantity of goods, pickup/drop-off locations, whether stairs are involved, etc.

Why can't I book an order more than four days in advance?

Except for special cases such as long-term hourly hire or trips to/from restricted zones, we recommend booking no more than a day ahead. Most point-to-point trips can be booked just before departure. Our driver partners travel between different locations every day, so far-advance bookings are generally harder to confirm with a driver ahead of time.

How long after booking will a vehicle arrive?

It depends on actual road conditions. Once a driver partner accepts the order, they will contact you immediately. Depending on road conditions and how busy it is, we cannot guarantee a driver will accept every trip, but we will do our best to match you with a suitable vehicle.

How do I choose the right type of van?

Can you provide a receipt?

Most of our driver partners can provide a CALL4VAN receipt — simply note that a CALL4VAN receipt is required when booking. An electronic receipt is also available on request.

Can I use CALL4VAN for moving?

Yes. When placing your order, choose a suitable vehicle based on the size and quantity of items. If you need the driver to help with loading, the driver will call to assess and quote. If the quote does not suit you, ask the driver to release the order and the platform will match you with another driver partner. Please note we are not a moving company — we generally do not provide boxes or packing materials, and do not offer assembly/disassembly services.

Can I use the service for passengers only, without cargo?

Under current Hong Kong SAR law, light goods vehicles are not permitted to carry passengers for hire or reward.

What is the hourly hire (包鐘) service?

+

Hourly hire means renting a vehicle for a set period to visit multiple stops/areas, or for long waiting times. The hourly rate does not include any parking, tunnel, bridge or miscellaneous fees incurred, and the minimum charge is 3 hours.

How much loading/unloading time do I get?

Van orders include a total of 15 minutes free loading/unloading time at the pickup and drop-off points; beyond 15 minutes, every additional 5 minutes is charged at $10. Each additional stop adds another 5 minutes of free loading/unloading time. 5.5-tonne truck orders include a total of 30 minutes free loading/unloading time; beyond 30 minutes, every 5 minutes is charged at $20, and each additional stop adds 10 minutes free. 9-tonne truck orders include a total of 30 minutes free loading/unloading time; beyond 30 minutes, every 5 minutes is charged at $30, and each additional stop adds 10 minutes free.

Are there surcharges for evening or late-night service?

Yes. Tiered surcharges apply after 9pm and after midnight. See the App or WhatsApp quote for details.

Can I bring pets on board?

Yes. Please note that you have pets when placing your order.

Can infants or wheelchair users use the service?

+

Vans typically sit higher than other vehicles and do not offer accessibility features. We therefore do not recommend travelling with infants. If a wheelchair is required, it can be placed in the rear cargo area — please take care when boarding and alighting.

Why are your fees relatively high?

+

We do not charge higher fees — pricing is adjusted based on actual market conditions. When fuel prices rise we add a fuel surcharge, fully and transparently passed on to driver partners. We aim to balance customer affordability with fair driver income, and avoid favouring one side at the expense of the market's health.

Why do some vehicles carry other platforms' logos/decals?

We do not currently require driver partners to display CALL4VAN decals or markings on their vehicles, nor do we restrict them from serving other platforms. It is therefore normal to see vehicles with logos/decals from other platforms.
